UnderRated has been droppin bombs behind the scenes for 10 years now. He has produced everything from rap to R&B to Punk Rock/Hip-Hop remixes. As the #1 producer for Lost Koast Productions and a member of underground group Potluck he has worked with such acts as E-40, Tech N9NE, Too $hort, Kurupt, Fabolous, WC, Tha Liks, Beatnuts, Rahzel of the Roots, Jurassic 5, Blackalicious, Atmosphere, Living Legends, Defari, Spice 1, Kotton Mouth Kings, Bahamadia, The Coup, Digital Underground, Sir Mix A Lot, Cool Nutz, LifeSavas, Non-Phixion, and many more!



UnderRated was born, raised, and lives on the West Coast in Humboldt County, California. Living on the west coast definetly influenced his music. He grew up listening to underground Bay Area rap and quickly became addicted. He had to get every single tape that came out. Not only West Coast, but every rap record that hit the store.


At the age of 17, he was introduced to DJing and his music addiction continued to grow. After DJing for a couple years he got into making his own beats. He bought an EMax II and a SP 1200 drum machine. He went beat crazy. He made so much music that his neighbors got a restraining order against him for playing his music too loud. After 10 years of playing his music too loud he has produced, rapped, dj'd, engineered and mixed 4 Potluck CDs for Lost Koast Productions. Straight Outta Humboldt, Harvest Time, Humboldt County High, and Tha Lost Koast Kollective. All CDs have done exceptionally well selling over 20,000 units.





UnderRated is currently working on beats for Potluck and has recently produced tracks featuring Tech N9NE, Twiztid & Blaze, Jurrasic 5, Kottonmouth Kings, Luniz, X Clan, BG of the Hot Boys, Mystik Journeymen and Sunspot Jonz new solo album. He also produced beats for E-40 Presents: "I Hate Cool Nutz" and C-Bo Presents: "The Goon Squad"
