Potluck
is very lyrical and very tight with their delivery. They have
west coast beats.... A lot of the production is done by Baby J...
Its Sick... Its a very good album showcasing the talent they got
up there in the NorthWest. |

I
listen to the muthafucka-yeah it's got that weed smokin' on there
but their music is so different. Its the parlayin/good times shit.
Real mellow, laid back but at the same time the rappers on there
got some real good freestyle capabilites. The way they put their
words together they come up with some crazy shit. I didn't expect
it to be so good, but it's off the chain. |

they rock a ruggish sound without pretending to be gangsters is

“UnderRated,
whose vocal tone and ability to hold a flow over a multitude of
beats should be dually noted. He also commands the production
of all but one track. The large black man 1 Ton and the skinny
Jewish white boy UnderRated not only abandon and break all stereo
types of what they should be – they actually transcend hip-hop
and present themselves as two average joes caught up in the whirlwind
of a love for hip-hop music.” |

"Produced by UnderRated throughout, the tracks are the right
mix of crispy percussion, slinky bass, and smooth melodies. It's
not surprising that these rappers have been asked to gig on the
Vans Warped tour, or that their music charted in the pages of
College Music Journal - the only surprise to this reviewer is
that I hadn't heard of them before now." |

"While
the music - booming productions filled to the top with slick keys,
hefty bass and hard kick drums... The fact that Baby J (UnderRated)
produces the majority of the tracks means that they all have the
same advantage." |

“Is some of the best, raw west coast style ever. Similar
Tupac flavor laced with a marijuana induced focus. great record.

"As
the tracks pass by it starts to sound like you in Cali smashin'
on the freeway with the homies in the backseat freestyling and
passing the dro" |

“The
most interesting aspect of the group is that their style can not
be labeled; they have succeeded in fusing multiple genres of hip-hop….
Most tracks end up sounding like old school Living Legends crossbred
with Twista and Ice Cube, with a modern, radio friendly overtone.” |

"1
Ton’s smooth steady raps are complimented by UnderRated’s
slip-side double-time twang and together, Potluck offer the well
rounded perspective of the homeboy from next door.” |
